Newsshooter.com’s technical editor Matt Allard takes a look at Panasonic’s new DVX200 4K camera. It’s a 4/3” chip camcorder-style body with a 13x integrated zoom lens, autofocus and optical image stabilisation built-in.
Panasonic are aiming this squarely at run-and-gun, event and doc shooters who are looking to move into 4K acquisition while using a familiar form factor.
It shoots to SD cards, features built-in ND filters and a flip out screen as well as a viewfinder.
The camera is scheduled to ship in September 2015 and should be priced at under $5,000
